Telangana: Google, Telangana Govt launch Google for Startups Hub at T-Hub in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 10 (UNI):Google and the Government of Telangana launched the 'Google for Startups Hub" at T-Hub here on Wednesday, marking the company's first such hub integrated into a state-led incubation and innovation ecosystem in India.
The new centre aims to accelerate the growth of AI-first startups in the region by offering year-long free co-working spaces for selected founders, access to Google experts, and support from a curated network of venture investors.
The initiative is designed to strengthen Telangana's ambition to position itself as a global innovation hub.
Working together, the Government of Telangana, and Google will support AI-first startups, foster talent, and create direct bridges to international markets.
The startups Hub was inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy along with IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu , in the presence of senior government officials and Google leadership.
Speaking on the occasion , Revanth Reddy while welcoming Google for Startups into Telangana Innovation and Start-up ecosystem, said that "We are laying the foundation of a globally competitive innovation ecosystem right here in Telangana. With our policy-vision, private-sector momentum and the world's best tech partners, Telangana is poised to become a launchpad for startups that are built here, for India, and for the world"
Sridhar Babu, said, "With this launch, we're further expanding our innovation ecosystem—one designed not only to help startups build great technology products but to strengthen their entire capacity to innovate. Our aim is to provide founders and budding tech entrepreneurs with access to the tools, mentorship,market access programs and collaborative platforms they need to experiment boldly, scale efficiently, and compete globally".
Sanjay Kumar, Special Chief Secretary for IT, Electronics & Communications, said the hub reflects the state's innovation-driven policy vision and will enable talent from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to benefit from world-class resources without leaving the state.
Google India Country Manager Preeti Lobana said the partnership will bring the "full stack of Google support" to Telangana's startup ecosystem.
"The hub will act as an innovation flywheel, helping the next generation of Indian founders use AI to solve real-world challenges," she said.
Equipped with dedicated infrastructure, mentoring spaces, and event facilities, the Google for Startups Hub will support founders from early product development to scaling AI-first businesses across India and global markets, she added.
