Telangana Govt committed to purchasing all paddy grains from farmers: Seethakka

Mulugu (Telangana), Nov 3 (UNI) Telangana Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Women and Child Welfare, Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, assured farmers that the state government is committed to purchasing every paddy grain they produce.
She inaugurated a 1,000 MT godown of the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) on Pal Sub-Palli Road in Mulugu district on Sunday, accompanied by Mahabubabad MP Parika Balrao Naik, District Collector Diwakar T.S., PACS Chairman Satthi Reddy, and Library Chairman Ravi Chander.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Seethakka stated that the government has finalised arrangements to procure grains. Given the substantial grain production by farmers in the Mulugu area, additional procurement centres will be established to meet the demand. She emphasized that PACS centres and rice millers will coordinate closely with farmers to ensure a smooth purchasing process.
