Telangana Govt forms special teams to curb road violations and prevent accidents: Minister

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNI) The Telangana government has formulated a comprehensive action plan to tighten enforcement in the state’s transport sector and take strict action against vehicles violating road safety norms.
The initiative aims to reduce road accidents through continuous monitoring and swift penalties against violators.
State Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held a review meeting with senior Transport Department officials at the Secretariat, where he directed that enforcement operations be intensified across all districts. He announced the formation of 33 district-level enforcement teams and three state-level flying squads to conduct daily surprise inspections.

Task Force busts duplicate Karachi Mehendi unit in Balapur, seizes stock worth Rs 8 lakh

Hyd: Temple heist busted, ornaments worth ₹26 lakh recovered

Hyderabad, Jan 14 (UNI) The Central Crime Station (CCS) of Kukatpally Zone, with the support of police, busted an inter-state temple theft gang involved in the burglary at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Sardar Patel Nagar, KPHB Colony, and recovered stolen gold, silver, and copper ornaments worth ₹26 lakh, police said on Wednesday.
