Telangana Govt to issue white ration cards to all eligible citizens

Hyderabad, Aug 10 (UNI) The Telangana Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by the Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister has announced that white ration cards will be issued to all eligible citizens across the state.
On Saturday morning, the meeting, chaired by Uttam Kumar Reddy, included participation from Subcommittee members, State Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Civil Supplies Secretary DS Chauhan, Health Secretary Christina Z Chongthu, and other officials.
Uttam stated that the subcommittee has proposed that the annual income limit for eligibility for white ration cards should not exceed Rs 1.50 lakhs in rural areas and Rs 2 lakhs in urban areas. He emphasized that a thorough study is being conducted to ensure that those living below the poverty line do not miss out on this opportunity.
