Telangana Govt to launch Rs 1000 cr startup fund: CM

Hyderabad, Dec 10 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday urged Startup founders to leverage the state’s upcoming Rs 1,000-crore 'Startup Fund of Funds' and set an ambitious goal of creating at least 100 unicorns from Hyderabad by 2034, including 10 super-unicorns.
He urged founders to tap into the state’s new Startup Fund of Funds, which he said would play a pivotal role in nurturing product-based, innovative, and IP-driven companies in Telangana.
Addresssing startup founders and industry leaders after inaugurating the “Google for Startups (GfS) Hub” at T-Hub here attended by IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Special Secretary to the CM B. Ajith Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Secretary Bhavesh Mishra, and senior Google executives, Revanth Reddy said the launch of the Google-backed hub would significantly strengthen Telangana’s startup ecosystem.
