Three Bihar SHOs killed in NH-31 road accident while returning from training

Begusarai, 12 June (UNI): The identity of all three Station House Officers (SHOs) posted at different police stations in Madhepura district who were killed in a devastating road accident late last night on National Highway-31 under the jurisdiction of the Sahebpur Kamal police station in Begusarai district has been ascertained.
The police said here today that the deceased police officers have been identified as Neeraj Kumar (29), SHO of Belari police station, Gyanendra Amarendra (35), SHO of Arar police station and Sajan Paswan (28), SHO of Ratwara police station. The driver of the vehicle by which the police officers were travelling has been identified as Jyotish Kumar (25).
According to police, the three serving police station heads lost their lives while returning from official training. The three officers were returning to Madhepura by car after completing a training programme in Patna. The vehicle carrying the officers collided with a truck near a petrol pump on National Highway-31 under the Sahebpur Kamal police station area.
