Three girls feared drowned in Ghaghara

Bahraich (UP), Aug 19 (UNI) Three girls are feared drowned in Ghaghara river in Kaisarganj area on Friday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Shobhawati (20), Kajal (18) and Sangeeta (19), all residents of Godiyah village, are friends. "On Friday they went to take bath in Ghaghara near Chandradev Purwa and slipped into deep water," they said.
Police sources said that after getting the information Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mahesh Kumar reached the spot and launched a rescue and relief operation with the help of local divers. "After several efforts the girls cannot be traced till evening. An NDRF team has also reached the spot," they said.
