Three youths killed, three others injured after care hits tree following wild boar scare in Palakkad

Palakkad, Nov 9 (UNI) Three youths were killed and three others injured after their car hit a tree and overturned into a paddy field, following a wild boar leaping in front of the vehicle at Kallingal near Kodumba in Chittur-Palakkad road, on Saturday night.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Rohan (24), Rohan Santhosh (22) and Sanoosh (19),who died on the spot. While driver Aadithyan(23), Hrishi (24)and Jithin sustained injuries and have been admitted to the District hospital, Palakkad.
All the youths were friends and hailing from nearby areas in Palakkad town. The incident took place around 2300 hrs, while the youths were returning from Chittur to Palakkad as part of a holiday trip. The car first hit a milestone after the wild boar dashed across the road and rammed a tree before overturning into the paddy field.
