Tie-up with Google for e-learning : Khalsa college to start online classes next academic session

Amritsar, Jun 28 (UNI) In a major initiative, historic Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA) has tied up with the Google to adopt the online classes programs for the next academic session.
The training sessions are on and Google has offered the College a G-Suite search engine software programme at affordable costs to reach out to the students for e-classes due to the lockdown in wake of Covid-19 spread.
Principal Dr Mehal Singh said on the directions of the Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC), they reached out to the Google headquarters who guided their staff to offer the latest programs for e-learning. "The education scenario is changing dramatically, with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is all set to be adopted remotely through digital platforms”, he said.
