Timing revised for Punjab CM’s Akal Takht appearance

Chandigarh, Jan 13 (UNI) The Akal Takht has revised the timing of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s appearance scheduled for January 15, citing a clash with an official programme involving the President of India.
An update issued by the Akal Takht Secretariat confirmed that the Chief Minister will now appear in the late afternoon instead of the morning.
According to the revised schedule, Mann has been asked to reach the Akal Takht Secretariat at 4:30 pm. He was expected to appear at 10 am. The Sikh religious authority had sought an explanation from the Chief Minister in connection with certain remarks and a video that gained wide circulation on social media.
