TN govt firm in safeguarding social justice, 69 pc quota

Chennai, June 18 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government is firm in protecting social justice and is undertaking every effort to safeguard the 69 per cent reservation, Governor R V Arlekar announced in the State Assembly on Thursday.
Delivering his maiden customary address to the House on the first day of the first session of the new TVK government headed by Chief Minister Vijay, the Governor said moreover, standing as a bulwark for minorities, this Government will always support the advancement of minorities and will always uphold their rights.
"I am confident that this Government will stand tall as a truly ‘Secular, Social-Justice’ Government", he added.
