Mumbai, Nov 29 (UNI) The decision to give one amount of Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) to sugarcane farmers in the state was taken Tuesday in a meeting of sugarcane farmers chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
A meeting was held at Sahyadri guest house regarding various demands of sugarcane farmers.
Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadanvis, Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar, Cooperation Minister Atul Save, Ports and Mines Minister Dadaji Bhuse, MP Darishsheel Mane, Former MP Raju Shetty, Former MLA Sadabhau Khot,top ranks officials and representatives of various farmers' organizations were present.
