Toxic cough syrup claims 19 lives so far, probe intensified

Nagpur, Oct 7 (UNI) Nineteen children have died so far after consuming the allegedly contaminated "ColdRef" cough syrup, health authorities confirmed today.
The children, hailing from Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district, were shifted to various hospitals in Nagpur after their condition worsened, officials said.
Officials further stated that the deaths were primarily caused by multiple organ failure.

Bomb scare on Mahanagari Exp turns out to be a hoax
