TPCC media chief Rammohan Reddy accuses BRS of "insulting women" terms party mindset feudal

Hyderabad, Jan 15 (UNI) TPCC Media and Communications Chairman Sama Rammohan Reddy on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the BRS, alleging that the party "dislikes women's dignity, freedom and self-respect" and carries a mindset that is contrary to modern democratic values.
In a statement, Rammohan Reddy said the Congress government was providing opportunities for women to advance in all fields, but the BRS was unable to accept their progress and was "humiliating sisters and daughters at every step."
He alleged that BRS leaders had insulted poor and middle-class women travelling free on RTC buses by calling them "recording dancers." He also accused the party of indulging in social media attacks, including targeting women even from within their own families.

Bengaluru, July 15 (UNI) Karnataka Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka on Wednesday escalated the BJP's offensive against the Congress government, petitioning Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot to stall the state's proposed Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) policy and ordering an independent probe into the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede, alleging the government was pursuing an "unconstitutional vote-bank agenda" while attempting to shield those responsible for the tragedy.
