TPCC spokesperson demands apology from BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) official spokesperson Medi Ravichandra on Monday demanded an apology from Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind for his alleged remarks against Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud.
Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Ravichandra accused the BJP MP of making “arrogant and personal” comments against the Chief Minister and the Congress leadership. He alleged that BJP leaders were attempting to tarnish the image of the Telangana government despite the development initiatives being undertaken after the Congress came to power in the state.
The TPCC spokesperson said political criticism over government policies could be accepted in a democracy, but objected to what he termed as personal attacks against the Chief Minister. He warned that Congress leaders and workers would strongly oppose such remarks if they continued.
