TRS to launch month-long ‘Flag Festival’ across Telangana

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Monday called upon party cadres to organise a month-long “Flag Festival” (Jenda Panduga) across Telangana from May 20 to June 20 to take the party’s ideology to the grassroots level.
In a message to party workers, Kavitha said the programme should be conducted on a grand scale from the state capital to district headquarters, constituencies, mandal centres, villages, and ward levels. She urged cadres to hoist TRS flags in every ward and actively publicise the party’s policies and “Panchajanya” principles announced during the party’s inception meeting.
Kavitha stated that even after 12 years of Telangana’s formation, the state continued to face several critical challenges and alleged that the promises associated with the Telangana movement — “Water, Funds and Jobs” — had not been fully realised. She claimed that many sections of society who had hoped for a better future after statehood were now facing uncertainty.
