Trump threatens fresh tariffs on Indian Rice, Delhi says will adopt wait and watch policy

Washington, Dec 9 (UNI)
US President Donald Trump has threatened to slap fresh tariffs on agricultural imports, singling out rice from India and fertiliser from Canada, as trade negotiations with both countries dragged on.
“India should not be dumping rice in the US,” Trump said during an event at the White House, where he announced a multibillion-dollar relief package for American farmers.
