Two college students commit suicide by jumping from high rise building

Mumbai Oct 7 (UNI) Two college students allegedly commited suicide by jumping from a high rise building in neighboring Virar area near Mumbai, an official said here today.
According to the details the tragic incident occurred on Monday night around 9:30 p.m. in the Bolinj area of Virar when duo identified as
Sham Ghorai (20) and Aditya Ram singh (21), jumped from 18th floor of an under-construction building.

Mumbai/Satara, Jun 15 (UNI) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), under the leadership of Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, has intensified its crackdown on counterfeit and misleading products, shifting its focus from illegal medicines to the cosmetics sector.
In a statewide enforcement drive, the FDA has seized fake, adulterated and misleading beauty products worth Rs 34.61 lakh from various locations across Maharashtra.

Govt must issue caste certificates to 1 40 lakh Kunbis whose records are in Kolhapur Gazette: Jarange-Patil

Kolhapur, Jun 15 (UNI) Maratha community leader Manoj Jarange-Patil today demanded that the state government should issue caste certificates to the 1.40 lakh Kunbis whose caste records were found in the Kolhapur Gazette in the district.
At a press conference here today along with Congress MP Shrimant Shahu Chhatrapati, Jarange-Patil said, "I am requesting this once, I will not do it again. Do not make them feel angry and resentful towards the goverment; and if not fulfilled then we will agitate against the goverment".
