Visakhapatnam, Jun 30 (UNI) After the styrene gas leak in LG Polymers Chemical Plant in R R Venkatapuram village on the outskirts of this port city on May 7 in which 12 people died and hundreds hospitalized, at least two workers died and four others taken ill after inhaling benzimidazole vapours which leaked from the Sainor Life Sciences Pharma Company located at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City (JNPC), Parawada in this district in the wee hours on Tuesday.
At the time of the gas leakage incident, more than 40 persons were working in the pharma company, workers in the Company said.
After inhaling the gas, two people died due to respiratory problems while four others collapsed, according to police.
