Two hundred twenty cases settled at National Lok Adalat in Nagaland

Dimapur, May 11 (UNI) A total of 402 cases were taken up, out of which 220 cases were disposed of during the 2nd quarter National Lok Adalat held across Nagaland.
An official statement here today said 11 benches were set up in the district headquarters of the district legal services authorities (DLSAs) under the aegis of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA).
The success rate of the disposal in the National Lok Adalat currently in Nagaland stands at about 54 per cent. The cases taken up were at the pre-litigation stage, including bank recovery, loan recovery, and telephone bill cases. Those at the pending stage were criminal compoundable offences, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT), and other civil cases, the release stated.
