Two, including woman peddler, arrested with heroin & cash in Pasighat

Itanagar, Oct 14 (UNI) In a major breakthrough under Operation Dawn 2.0, the East Siang Police arrested two persons, including a woman peddler, and seized 9.28 grams of suspected heroin along with Rs 89,000 in cash and a mobile phone at 4 Mile, Pasighat.
Police today said that acting on specific intelligence inputs, the Anti-Drugs Squad (ADS), East Siang, in coordination with Anti-Drugs Warriors, Pasighat on Monday launched a meticulously planned operation on October 13.
An undercover buyer was deployed to approach the suspects, leading to the arrest of Peeman Manham Taloh, identified as a lady peddler, and Tajen Perme, a habitual drug user.
