Two killed in firecracker explosion after bike collides with cow in Lucknow

Lucknow, Oct 14 (UNI) Two men were killed in the Gosainganj area of Lucknow after their motorcycle collided with a stray cow and exploded due to the firecrackers they were carrying.
The deceased have been identified as Suhail, a resident of Jan Gaon Patti in Hardoi, and Mohammad Ahmad, a resident of Matan Tola under Gosainganj police station. Suhail was the brother-in-law of Mohammad Ahmad. Both were reportedly on their way to attend a wedding procession in Markhapur.
According to eyewitness Mishrilal Patel, the incident occurred around 3:15 PM on Tuesday afternoon when a stray cow suddenly came onto the road. The motorcycle hit the animal, lost balance, and overturned. Immediately after, a loud explosion occurred, believed to have been caused by the firecrackers being transported on the bike.
