Two tribal siblings killed, 1 seriously injured in wall collapse in Attappady

Palakkad, Nov 8 (UNI) Two siblings from a tribal family were killed and another girl was seriously injured after a wall of an unused house collapsed while they were playing, near their home, at Karuvara near Chindakki in the Attappady block panchayat, today.
Karuvara is located about four kilometres away from Mukkali village in Attappady.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Aadhi (7) and Ajnesh (4), sons of Ajay and Devi from the Muthukka tribal settlement .

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 12 (UNI) Kerala is fully prepared for the counting of votes in the 2025 local body elections, scheduled to take place on December 13 across 244 counting centres statewide.
State Election Commissioner A. Shajahan has stated that counting for grama panchayats will be conducted at block-level centres, while municipalities and corporations will tally their votes at their respective institutions.
