Two TUNF militants arrested in Tripura

Agartala, Aug 14 (UNI) Two members of the Tripura United National Front (TUNF) were apprehended by police in North Tripura today on the eve of Independence Day celebrations.
Police said that an ambush was set up near Kanchanpur-Vangmun, close to the Tripura-Mizoram border, where the arrests took place.
The individuals taken into custody, identified as Dhananjoy Reang from Katlichhera, Hailakandi, and Sadai Nanda Reang from Kasko, Damchhera, were found in possession of high-grade explosive materials.
