United for Relief: Abhishek Banerjee urges citizens to aid WB flood victims

New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) In the wake of the devastating floods and landslides that have recently ravaged northern West Bengal, Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee today issued an earnest appeal to the public, urging them to contribute to the West Bengal State Disaster Management Authority (WBSDMA) Fund.
“These are challenging times for our brothers and sisters in the affected districts. Every contribution, no matter how small, can bring hope and relief to those who have lost their homes, their livelihoods, and their peace,” Banerjee expressed through a heartfelt message on his WhatsApp channel.
The calamity has inflicted severe damage across several communities, causing tragic loss of life and widespread destruction. While the state government has mobilized relief operations, the scale of the disaster demands a collective response from citizens across the region and beyond.
