UP Govt Making Strides in Women Empowerment through SHGs:CM Keshav Prasad Maurya

Lucknow, September 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today stated that the government is carrying out significant and commendable work in the field of women empowerment.
He emphasised that the state is consistently striving to promote products made by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) both domestically and internationally. Under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, notable initiatives are being undertaken to uplift and empower women. Maurya said that SHGs are emerging as powerful centres for women's empowerment. He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, under whom revolutionary changes have been seen in the area of women’s empowerment.
In a statement, Maurya further added that the government is moving ahead with the vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas" (Together with all, development for all, trust of all, and effort by all).
