Uttar Pradesh: Folk singer returns without recording her statement

Lucknow, Jan 19 (UNI) Folk singer Neha Singh Rathore arrived at the Hazratganj police station on Monday for questioning in connection with an FIR registered against her, but returned without recording her statement.
The case is related to posts made by Neha on social media as well as songs performed on public platforms after the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. It is alleged that Neha had commented on the government and the system through some posts and songs, which allegedly affected social harmony and national unity.
FIRs were registered against her in various places, including Lucknow and Varanasi.
