Uttar Pradesh on alert after Delhi fire, Yogi orders intensive investigation

Lucknow, Jun 4 (UNI) A day after the devastating fire claimed several lives in a Delhi hotel, the Uttar Pradesh government has increased vigilance regarding fire safety across the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed the police, fire department, public works department, and other related departments to conduct comprehensive inspections and safety audits.
The Chief Minister has ordered a thorough inspection of all high-rise buildings, commercial establishments, government and private offices, hotels, malls, and other public buildings in the state. Wherever deficiencies in fire safety standards are found, immediate corrective action should be taken.
