Bhind (MP), Feb 5 (UNI) A Vikas Yatra commenced in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday to mark Sant Ravidas Jayanti, it was officially learnt.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said here, “Families – which were unable to take advantage of government schemes – were identified by conducting the Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan in every village and ward. Under the campaign, work is underway vis-à-vis distribution of sanction letters to 83 lakh individuals. The Ladli Bahna scheme will make the lives of my sisters better. Arrangements are being made to give Rs 1,000 every month to each sister.”
