Vision of Viksit Bharat requires collective efforts of Society: Dr Rangarajan

Hyderabad, Sep 12 (UNI) ICFAI Deemed-to-be University Chancellor and former RBI Governor Dr C Rangarajan today said “The vision of Viksit Bharat is not just a statistical goal - it has to be a transformative journey that requires the collective efforts of society.”
Dr Rangarajan said several dynamic factors impact achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat, including increase in investment rate, new technologies, focusing on labor intensive sectors, and expanding social infrastructure.
Dr. Rangarajan, who presided over the 15th convocation of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education here, highlighted the regional dimension of Viksit Bharat and pointed out that six states contribute 52 per cent to national GDP, while 27 States and union Territories contribute 48 percent.
