VSEZ Zonal Development Commissioner visits Sri City in AP

Tirupati, Sep 4 (UNI) Muppalla Srinivas, IRSME, Zonal Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone (VSEZ), visited Sri City, a large-scale, integrated smart business city and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, today.
He was accorded a warm welcome by Mr. C. Ramesh Kumar, Vice President (Customer Relations), who briefed him on the world-class infrastructure and rapid progress of the integrated business city.
Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder and Managing Director of Sri City, highlighted its steady rise as a major economic engine with strong national and global trade linkages, noting robust growth across both SEZ and DTZ operations, with the DTZ driving turnover and the SEZ powering exports.
In line with the central government’s policy to promote exports, Dr. Sannareddy announced the launch of a dedicated Export Help Desk at Sri City.
“The Export Help Desk will act as a bridge between policy and practice, enabling our units to compete more effectively in global markets. As a single-window facility, it will provide exporters with real-time policy updates, compliance support, and practical solutions to industry-specific challenges. With domain experts managing the Desk, we aim to enhance efficiency, ease of doing business, and global reach of our units,” Dr. Sannareddy stated.
During the meeting, wide-ranging discussions were held on the SEZ related procedures and some of the specific issues, including de-notification of the incubation centre which is under process at DC’s Office, Sri City SEZ.
Mr. Srinivas toured the campus and visited select production units, including, Alstom, NGC Transmission and Vermeiren.
He lauded the initiatives taken by Sri City management, remarking that he was highly impressed with the excellent infrastructure and business-friendly atmosphere at Sri City.

Paytm applies for RBI PPI licence to revive digital wallet business
