Waqf Amendment bill will provide power to poor, and oppressed: Jaiswal

Patna, Aug 8 (UNI) Claiming that the Waqf board Amendment bill will provide rights to the poor, oppressed, and deprived sections, BJP Bihar unit President Dilip Jaiswal said the opposition was opposing it to scare the minorities under their appeasement policy and vote bank politics.
Jaiswal told newspersons here on Thursday that the bill was not at all anti- minorities rather it would bring transparency. He alleged that the opposition was trying to create confusion.
Jaiswal said the government since 2015 had been discussing and taking feedback from lakhs of people on the proposed amendments in the waqf board law.
