Wife booked for culpable homicide after disabled husband's death in Beed

Beed, Sept 14 (UNI) A disabled man died after he was allegedly assaulted by his wife during a family dispute in the Kranti Nagar area of Ambajogai city in Beed district, police said today.
The victim, Kailas Sarvade (37), reportedly succumbed to his injuries after his wife, Maya, kicked and punched him. A case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder has been registered against Maya Sarvade at the Ambajogai City Police Station based on a complaint by Kailas's sister, Jyoti Tarakse.
According to the complaint, the couple, who were married for seven years, frequently had arguments as Kailas had a habit of drinking. It was also alleged that Maya used to starve him during their domestic disputes.
