Woman jumps into well with daughter after dispute with husband, both die

Latehar, Nov 9 (UNI) An incident occurred in Belwadeeh village of Latehar district, where a woman and her three-year-old daughter lost their lives after the woman allegedly jumped into a well following a dispute with her husband.
According to reports, the woman, identified as Sukhmani Devi (30), had an argument with her husband, Bhagirath Yadav, on Friday. In a fit of anger, she took her daughter, Divya Kumari, and jumped into a well, leading to the death of both mother and child. Initially, family members believed Sukhmani had left home in anger and began searching for her, but she could not be found.
On Sunday, villagers spotted two bodies floating in a well located in a paddy field near Loharatoli and immediately informed the family and police. The bodies were later recovered and sent to Latehar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
