Yogi congratulates newly elected Council members

Lucknow, Feb 3 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday congratulated the winning candidates from three graduate constituencies and two teachers constituencies in the biennial elections of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council elections.
The CM tweeted, "The victory of the BJP candidates in the elections to the upper house of the State Legislature testifies immense public faith in the double engine government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
The CM said that the presence of hardworking members who have deep faith in democratic values in UP, will enhance the dignity of the Council. "Contribution of experienced new members will prove to be helpful in building the ‘New Uttar Pradesh of New India'," he said.
