District Shiv Sena honours press photographers on international photograph day

Kolhapur, Aug 19 (UNI) In a novel method, District Shiv Sena (SS) on Friday honoured press photographers on the occasion of "international photographers day", at in the front of "Camera Stamb", at Khari Cornir area of the city, with giving 'Safroon Shawl' and taking their 'photographs'.
In a emotional function, district SS president Vijay Devne and SS city presidents Ravi Kiran Ingavale and Sunil Modi, honored press photographers of the city's dailies, for their contribution while taking photographs in different agitations and with giving news of constructive works of the society, on the backdrop of 'Camera Stambh', a memorial of first camera, made by late Baburao Painter. After honored, SS president took photographs of these press photographers.
With honouring photographers, Mr Modi said with giving best wishes "friendness between SS and media to be further consolidate in future".
