Gulia secures bronze at Commonwealth junior fencing championships

Bengaluru, July 17 (UN) Sejal Gulia, a rising star in fencing from Bengaluru, has brought home the bronze medal in the Individual Junior Women’s Epee event at the Commonwealth Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships held in Christchurch, New Zealand, from July 12 to 19.
Gulia showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament, ultimately winning the bronze medal match in a fiercely competitive field. This achievement complements her earlier success at the Championships, where she also earned a silver medal as part of the Cadet Women’s Epee team on July 15th.
"I am incredibly honored to win the bronze medal," Gulia said. "The competition was intense, but I am proud of how I performed. This accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from my coaches, teammates, and family."
