Nexus Malls rebrands Sujana Mall as Nexus Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 6 (UNI) As a part of their rebranding exercises, Nexus Malls rebranded Sujana Mall as Nexus Hyderabad.
Announcing this at a press conference here on Wednesday, Nexus Malls Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jayen Naik said that Nexus Malls had started its journey in November, 2015 by acquiring two Malls-- Alpha One in Ahmadabad and Alpha One in Amritsar. Within one year, the company grew from 2 malls to 9 malls, all spread in North India with combined space of 5.5 million square feet, he said.
The company has acquired eight shopping centres from Prestige Group (Forum Malls) in 2021. Now the company is India’s largest retail platform under one new brand identify with 10 million squre feet of Grade A Shopping Centres across 13 cities consisting of 10 state in the country, he said and added that with the acquisition of Forum Malls in South, the company is very well represented in North, West and South.

Stating that the company caters to the needs of almost 130 million footfalls under these 17 malls every year”, Naik said the company reached this stage in just six and half years.

He said Nexus was the only mall in India to have Zara, Lifestyle, Shopper stop and Uniqlo in one single mall.

Speaking on Nexus Hyderabad (Sujana Mall), Naik said it was 8.5 lakh square feet and one of the best malls in South India. “ We converted all the touch points including toilets, food courts, parking into international level once after acquisition of all the malls”, he said.

Speaking on sale, Naik said that the company's sales grew from 73 per cent in January 2022 to 131 per cent in May 2022 and continued the same trend in June 2022 also. Footfalls concerned, Nexus Malls touched to 100 per cent in May 2022, wherein Nexus Hyderabad was 85 per cent, he said.
