'Abki Baar, AQI 400 Paar': AAP attacks Delhi govt over rising pollution

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi’s (MCD) monthly meeting turned chaotic on Thursday as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillors staged a protest inside the House, wearing black masks to condemn the city’s deteriorating air quality and alleged inaction by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led administration.
Led by Leader of Opposition (LoP) Ankush Narang, AAP members raised slogans of “Abki Baar, AQI 400 Paar” as they accused the BJP government of neglecting Delhi’s worsening pollution crisis.
“Despite a so-called ‘four-engine’ government, the residents of Delhi are forced to breathe toxic air,” Narang said, adding that children and the elderly are falling ill while authorities “sit silent.”
