‎Congress accuses Centre of failing to safeguard India's energy security

‎New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Narendra Modi government over concerns surrounding India's energy security amid the ongoing Iran-US conflict, alleging that the Centre had failed to put in place adequate safeguards despite the crisis persisting for months.
‎In a post on social media platform X, Venugopal accused the Prime Minister of neglecting economic preparedness and warned that ordinary citizens could bear the brunt of rising fuel-related pressures due to what he described as poor planning by the government.
