"Development wins, good governance triumphs" PM Modi on BJP win in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 8 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hailed the landslide victory of BJP in the assembly election in Delhi and said "Development wins and good governance triumphs".
He emphasized "We will leave no stone unturned for the all-round development of Delhi".
"Jana Shakti is paramount! Development wins, good governance triumphs. I bow to my dear sisters and brothers of Delhi for this resounding and historic mandate to @BJP4India. We are humbled and honoured to receive these blessings," Modi wrote on social media handle X.
"It is our guarantee that we will leave no stone unturned in developing Delhi, improving the overall quality of life for the people and ensuring that Delhi has a prime role to play in building a Viksit Bharat" he said.
According to the Election Commission, BJP is leading in 48 seats, while AAP in 22 seats. The Congress has failed to open its account for the third consecutive term.
"My salute and congratulations to all my brothers and sisters of Delhi for giving a historic victory to BJP. I am very grateful to all of you for the abundant blessings and love you have given,' the Prime Minister wrote on X.
"We will leave no stone unturned for the all-round development of Delhi and to make the lives of the people here better, this is our guarantee" Modi assured.
Congratulating, party workers, he said , "I am very proud of all my workers of BJP, who worked day and night for this massive mandate. Now we will be even more strongly dedicated to the service of the people of Delhi".
According to ECI, BJP have won five seats so far, and the party candidates are Rekha Gupta (Shalimar Bagh), Manjinder Singh Sirsa (Rajouri Garden), Chandan Kumar Choudhary (Sangam Vihar), Tilak Ram Gupta (Tri Nagar), and Umang Bajaj (Rajinder Nagar).
Thanking the people of Delhi, BJP President J P Nadda said, "This historic mandate reflects the people's trust in Prime Narendra Modi vision for a brighter and more progressive future for Delhi".
"My deep gratitude to the people of Delhi for choosing integrity over corruption, truth over lies, and a government truly committed to working for their welfare" he wrote on X.
BJP surged ahead in the Delhi assembly election, positioning itself to form the government in the capital after 27 years.
