‘It’s a Girl!’ Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa share joyous news

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) Bollywood stars Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have been blessed with their first child, a baby girl. The couple shared the joyful news in a joint post, coinciding with their fourth wedding anniversary on November 15.
“We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl. Blessed parents – Patralekhaa and Rajkummar,” they wrote.
In the caption, they described their daughter as God’s “greatest blessing,” expressing their happiness at beginning this new chapter of life.
Friends and fans quickly flooded the post with congratulatory messages. Actor Neha Dhupia wrote, “Congratulations, you guys. Welcome to the best hood … parenthood,” while Sophie Choudry added, “Huge congratulations, you guys!! Much love to you and your princess! God bless.”
The couple had first announced Patralekhaa’s pregnancy in July with a charming Instagram post featuring a cradle illustration and the message, “Baby on the way,” which had delighted fans who eagerly awaited updates.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot on November 15, 2021, in a ceremony in Chandigarh. The couple first met on the sets of the 2014 film Citylights, which also marked Patralekhaa’s Bollywood debut.
On the professional front, Rajkummar recently wrapped shooting for his upcoming film Nikam, a biopic on India’s renowned public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.
Sharing a handwritten note on Instagram, he expressed gratitude and admiration for portraying Nikam, calling it “a privilege” to bring the character to life with honesty and grace.
Meanwhile, the couple is also venturing into production. A few months ago, they launched their own production house, KAMPA Films, named as a tribute to their mothers by combining the initials of their names.
