‘Jagran Film Festival 2025 Delhi Chapter’: Concludes with 4 days of cinematic excellence

New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) The Delhi chapter of the 13th edition of Rajnigandha Presents Jagran Film Festival (JFF) concluded at Siri Fort Auditorium after four days of cinematic celebration, masterclasses, premieres, and emotional storytelling.
Cementing its reputation as the world’s largest traveling film festival, JFF 2025 turned the capital into a vibrant hub of Indian and global cinema.
The festival opened with JFF Little Lights for children and the world premiere of Inspector Zende, attended by stars Manoj Bajpayee, Jim Sarbh, and Chinmay Mandlekar.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the festival, praising it as a powerful platform for aspiring filmmakers, particularly from smaller cities.
Day 2 featured the premiere of Kiran Rao’s Humans in the Loop, a panel on AI in storytelling, a tribute to Guru Dutt by R. Balki, and a lively live audition session with Mukesh Chhabra.
Day 3 brought emotional depth with a session anchored by Tanvi The Great writer Ankur Suman, moving audiences to tears. Engaging conversations with Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor, and Inayat Verma followed, with Kapoor’s film Putul leaving a lasting impact.
The grand finale celebrated 50 years of Sholay, unveiled Love in Vietnam starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur, and hosted marquee sessions with Kajol, Umesh Bist, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Umesh Shukla. Premieres of Ek Chatur Naar and French drama Valensole 1965 closed the chapter.
Independent filmmakers like Devyani Anant (Bicycle Days) and Mayur Popat (Yun, Hum Mile) were also spotlighted. Masterclasses on VFX, AI, and virtual production added a tech-forward edge.
With Delhi’s successful run complete from 4 - 7 September, JFF now heads to Kanpur and Lucknow (September 19–21), continuing its mission to democratize cinema and spotlight powerful stories across India. UNI MI SSP
