'One Nation, One Election' need of the hour: Pankaj Chaudhary

Maharajganj (UP), Apr 24 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary on Thursday said that 'One Nation, One Election' is the need of the hour and it will not only save resources in the country but will also increase the pace of development.
Addressing a traders conference organised on the topic of 'One Nation, One Election' at his residential camp office, the minister said that frequent elections lead to wastage of energy and resources of the administration. "If simultaneous elections are held in the country, it will accelerate policy-making along with political stability," he said.
He appealed to the business class to support this initiative. He highlighted various aspects of 'One Nation, One Election' and called it a necessary step in the interest of the country. A large number of businessmen, social workers and dignitaries were present on this occasion.
