'Soil to Silk' exhibition and centre of excellence under construction at silk directorate in UP

Lucknow, Dec 16 (UNI) With the aim of realizing Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's 'Soil to Silk' vision, the Silk Directorate, Uttar Pradesh, is constructing a Centre of Excellence in the city.
The construction of the Centre of Excellence, at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh, is progressing rapidly within the Silk Directorate's office premises and is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
This unique initiative by the Silk Directorate will give global recognition to the state's traditional silk products and also create new employment opportunities.
