‘Two and a Half Men’ star Charlie Sheen gets his own Netflix docu-series ‘aka Charlie Sheen’

Los Angeles, Aug 13 (UNI) Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen, best known for his roles in films like ‘Hot Shots’, ‘The Platoon’, ‘Red Dawn’, ‘Wall Street’, ‘Scary Movie 3’, and serials such as ‘Two and a Half Men’ and ‘Spin City’, is now getting his own docu-series on Netflix.

Debuting on September 10, the two-part documentary titled ‘aka Charlie Sheen’ is the actor’s tell-all and chronicles various moments from his life, in particular the “tabloid black hole” which was ‘Two and a Half Men’ for Sheen, reports Deadline.

The series synopsis reads: “’aka Charlie Sheen’ tracks his upbringing in Malibu to his effortless rise to mega-stardom — and dramatic fall, all within the public eye. With a stunning clarity earned through seven years of sobriety, Sheen openly speaks about the subjects and events he’s never discussed publicly before.

“Through extraordinarily candid interviews with his family, friends, and cast members, including Denise Richards, Heidi Fleiss, Jon Cryer, Sean Penn, Ramon Estevez, Brooke Mueller, Chris Tucker, and his drug dealer Marco, the most outrageous moments of Sheen’s life are revisited with raw emotion and exceptional warmth, painting a portrait of a flawed man whose penchant for self-destruction is ultimately no match for the ferocious love and forgiveness he inspires in those closest to him.”

The series is produced by Charles Roven, Nick Boak, Madison Weireter, Jesse Sisgold, Jon Weinbach, Jordan Wynn, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard and Talin P. Middleton. Executive producers are Richard Lichter, Toby Emmerich, Michael Minahan and Vivian Johnson Rogowski. UNI ANV SSP
