30 killed in rain-related incidents in Pakistan

Islamabad, Apr 14 (UNI) At least 30 people were killed and several others injured in rain-related incidents in the last 48 hours in Pakistan, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Sunday.

The country's eastern Punjab province was the worst-hit region, where 17 people lost their lives and six others were injured in lightning strike incidents as heavy rainfall lashed various districts of the province over the past 48 hours, NDMA official Muhammad Umar told Xinhua.
