A new era of Industrialization begins in Odisha to spark an employment revolution: Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Feb 7 (UNI ) A new era of industrialization has begun in Odisha, aimed at creating
an employment revolution in the private sector, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said.
Speaking at a recruitment fair here on Friday where 6,390 people were hired across nine state government departments, Majhi stated that over the past seven months, the government has organized six such recruitment fairs, providing more than 20,000 jobs.

Kolkata: Food delivery boy dies in accident, Police fire tear gas cells to disperse protesters

Former Jadavpur University student arrested for attack on education minister’s car

Kolkata, Aug 14 (UNI) Based on a lookout notice by Kolkata police, Hindol Majumdar, a former student of Jadavpur University, has been arrested in connection with the attack on Education Minister Bratya Basu’s car on March 1. Delhi Police apprehended
Majumdar at the Indira Gandhi International Airport today.

He is currently in the custody of Delhi police and efforts are on to bring him to Kolkata. A team of Kolkata police have already reached Delhi to bring him to Kolkata on transit remand.
