Abhishek Sharma’s sister weds in Amritsar

Chandigarh, Oct 3 (UNI) Komal Sharma, sister of Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma, will wed Ludhiana-based hosiery businessman Lovish Oberoi today at Festin Resort in Amritsar.
The wedding, following Sikh traditions, will see the bride and groom exchange vows in a traditional ‘Lavan’ ceremony at Gurudwara Baba Shri Chand Ji Tahli Sahib on Verka Bypass, with only close family in attendance. The wedding procession departed from Ludhiana to Amritsar earlier today.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to ंattend the function. However, Abhishek Sharma will not attend, as he left for Kanpur on October 1 for practice, according to sources.
