Air quality worse in smaller towns in Indo-Gangetic Plains compared to bigger cities: CSE’s

Lucknow, Jan14 (UNI) Cities of Indo-Gangetic Plains region which showed how clean air gains during the lockdown period and monsoon have been lost with the reopening of the economy and the hostile winter weather.

A new analysis of winter air pollution carried out by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) till January 11, which was released here on Thursday says that the rise in pollution levels has also been synchronised across the region with varying patterns.
